Qigong

Chi kung, simply put, can be described as energy (chi) and work (kung) and we work our energy with some simple and straight forward forms that help us release stale and stagnant chi. The technique is from traditional Chinese exercises to achieve optimum health. Chi is the very essence of each of us. From a qigong perspective, when our energy is flowing smoothly, we have good health. It is also thought that all illness is a result of a blockage of our chi flow.

Jean Lie is a Toronto based qigong practitioner.  Her warm and positive approach to this alternative therapy makes her classes enjoyable.  She has a personal connection with this form of treatment as it is how she overcame her own struggle with endometriosis.  Here is what Jean has to say:

“When I started teaching qigong it was really to reach women with endometriosis.  I have had tremendous success with qigong and would love if everyone could reach this same level of good health. I am happy to have people contact me to learn this wonderful art and if they wish they can contact me at my email address QIMAC@rogers.com.”
