Yoga means to “yoke”, to “unite”, or to be “one”. Practicing yoga does just that, makes you one or whole with yourself and with the natural world around you. As women with endometriosis, it is especially easy to feel “incomplete” or “out of whack”. Not only does yoga unite your mind, body, and spirit it also ultimately heals the physical, mental, and emotional pain caused by endometriosis.
Certified Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master, Katie Windom, has lived with the pains of endometriosis since the age of 14. Now at the age 22 has learned the valuable techniques of yoga that has changed her life and is now offering private classes via Skype to change the lives of others, her endo sisters.
